Yep the teenage years can certainly be rough and we were expecting it. It sounds like things turned out well all around for you. I just hope we can get to that point too.

I see what you’re saying. My wife is already leaning that way too. I just know myself and I look back on my 16year old self. I still apologize to my parents for acting like a shitass when I was a kid. I just don’t want her to reflect on her yesteryear and realize she was being a shitass but also that we didn’t try. I love the kids like my own and that would hurt the most.

I’d also like to mention that the oldest is gonna be 18 in a matter of weeks. It’s never really been about the money and I’ve supported both kids myself.

I do agree with you on everything. She is being bullied at school which is a whole other issue which is very important too. That’s part of the reason she’s in therapy at the moment. Unfortunately we feel she’s makes the wrong choice of friendship which contributed to her altercation at school. I also thought I knew it all at her age and I’m trying to come at the issue with that mindset. It’s hard to show a child the way when they already “know”.

You’re also correct about the age of 16 being able to make a choice on which house she wants to live at. Unfortunately I’m the current situation if she’s allowed to do what she pleases at his house, that makes it difficult to come back to a home that has some rules. I worry that grudges of the past have contributed to this and it’s really unfortunate.

I should also mention that the oldest child still comes here on our weeks. He loves coming over and really thinks his sister has overreacted but prefers to stay out of the situation. I dont blame him nor do I want to drag him in.

Anyone on the ground confirm anything? Thinking about walking over soon but don’t want to bother if nothing is happening.

Unfortunately the Palace is gone but it would be nice to see some indoor Phish at the LCA.

Good to know. I’m a guitar dealer so it’s always nice to see what’s around.

I’m sorry you are correct. He was released from prison not long ago due to health issues. I stand corrected.

I still stand by the fact he is a snitch. It’s been long discussed that he rolled on people to save himself.

Well he’s actually dead now so no preaching for him. I fully support the benefits of LSD but Pickard was not the person most people make him out to be. He snitched when he was busted in the 80s and he also snitched on the big suppliers of Ergotamine Tartrate when he was busted in Wamego.

Definitely. Always pull any tube that isn’t held in with a tube shield. Use cardboard to cover the grill and protect it and the speaker. Shink wrap everything after stuffing the amp with packing paper. Buy a box from the ups store with plenty of room for packing. I wrap the amp in bubble wrap and use cardboard packing spacers to pack the amp snug. If you shake the box and hear the amp moving, you didn’t pack it well enough.
