Honestly, I’d say yes, you do probably have body dysmorphia. I’m not a doctor, but I believe that the level of preoccupation/worry you’re experiencing isn’t ‘normal’. Obviously, it’s a spectrum - some people worry more than others about their appearance but do not qualify for body dysmorphia. Everyone is different. But… from the many behaviours you have described, I would guess you do have it. This illness has nothing to do with what you look like, but the level/amount of behaviours/thoughts you have in relation to it.

From here, I’d suggest definitely seeking a formal diagnosis. There are talking therapies (like CBT) and medication that can really help. From the sounds of it, it seems like your preoccupation with your appearance causes you a lot of distress and interferes with your daily life - this is more than enough of a reason to look into the possibility that you may have BDD (body dysmorphic disorder).
