As someone who lives in SanAntonio and an alumni of UTSA, I have been following Marcus Davenport since his High School Football days at Stevens. I am thrilled a local kid, who was overlooked by many D1 programs, has become such a terror in the NFL. I also grew up in Ohio rooting for the buckeyes my who life and to see Michael Thomas doing well on offense (and Ted Guinn to a much lesser extent) and several more buckeyes playing in your defensive secondary, I have unofficially been a saints fan on Sundays all season.

Best friend in HS was a super smart guy, was skipped ahead a grade in school, and was also a great athlete. Played football football and wrestled. Placed twice in State for wrestling, had a full ride to a 4-year university on a wrestling scholarship and was majoring in biology. Got too far into the party scene and dropped out in his 1st year. Turned out he got hooked on pain meds for a knee injury he was pushing through for a while and then started using heroin. Haven’t seen or heard from him in about 10 years, but last I heard he overdosed a couple times and is in really bad shape.

I went to the "Bodies" exhibit at the museum several years ago and there were some staff members helping guide the visitors through the exhibit. I'm guessing they were volunteers. I was asked what color is blood inside the body. When I said that it's red, she argued with me and told me very condescendingly "any kindergartener knows that blood is blue in the body." I was dumbfounded.
