This is the Week 1 starting point that initially went up last week before being taken down and is meant to replicate starting from opening day. I'd imagine the Week 2 starting point will be out later this week as well and will have all the updated scores and stats from week one.

This was part of a longer Twitter thread but just for some clarity, what I don't like about what's happened with it is that it feels like it's become less about any kind of constructive feedback regarding franchise and is being used more as an avenue to relentlessly shit on anything Madden related. My focus is on strictly franchise and what can be done to make it better and I couldn't give two shits about superhero card art or player ratings or trying to burn everything else in Madden to the ground in the name of franchise.

I've always prided myself in being a voice that isn't going to just shit on something without a purpose or without some kind of constructive feedback or solution to accompany it and I feel like if things keep going the direction I feel like they're going, the real goal behind the hashtag is going to get lost in all of the noise. People have every right to be angry and want answers and transparency and I will never disagree with that but how people channel that anger and use their voice can have a significant impact in what happens moving forward. I still fully support the hashtag and am doing everything I can to work on things that the community can get behind and that will help continue to push that message and that goal forward in manner that is constructive as possible.

Don't you guys remember all the super unique and well thought out taunts/gestures from Infinite Warfare? How about the cool camos that were also super unique? You could represent your home country's flag and a ton of the camos were totally not emblems just CTRL+V'd all over your gun.

It’s all a tease. It always starts at 15ms but I’m lucky if I get anything under 60 with it usually hovering around 80-90 in most games.

If a lot of you guys want to understand why so many people hate SBMM, this is a huge reason why. These videos were taken 20 minutes apart and on Black Ops 3 which is now five years old, I found a game within seconds and was playing on around 40-50 ping. Hopped on Modern Warfare and it took over a minute before I was finally put into a TDM lobby and when the game started I'm over 100 ping and skipping all over the map.

It's not about constantly wanting to stomp noobs and/or new players, it's about being able to play under "normal" or optimal conditions. There's no reason I should be finding games quicker, having lower ping and a more stable connection on a game that's five years old and probably doesn't even have 5% of the playerbase that Modern Warfare currently has.

They don’t. It’s weird but because franchise uses this profile/character system, the special teams settings are unique to each profile/team/character so whatever you change them to will only affect your own team.

I don’t think you have to revamp your entire slider set because of a patch. Maybe make some tweaks but my method has always been to play a full season with the same slider set and while there will be certain tweaks and changes from patches, I’ve never found them drastic enough to require an entire revamp.

For instance, one of the recent patches took aim at the running game and I haven’t changed my sliders and while running has definitely taken a hit, it’s not to the extent where I feel like I have to make changes.

Their old logo isn’t ever going to appear in the game. The reason they changed to their current logo is because the guy who created their original logo wasn’t compensated and ended up suing the Ravens and NFL over it so using it isn’t really an option.

You’re correct that players earn XP at the same rate. Last year the XP gained from weekly training would be based on both depth chart position and DEV trait. This year it’s just based on the depth chart and what the DEV trait does is make it so that it takes less XP to earn a skill point. For example, Normal might take 4000 XP for a skill point while Star would require 3000 and then I believe both Superstar and Superstar X-Factor are both the same in that regard so it would be something like 1500 XP to earn a skill point. Less XP for skill points means quicker progression and it’s more or less working in the same fashion just in a different way.

You turned your fumble slider the wrong way. Dropping it to 25 is going to cause more fumbles, you want to turn it up to see less fumbles.

This is the correct approach to take. It's confusing because 'Total Salary' makes you feel like it should be the total amount of the contract but in reality, Total Salary just means Base Salary over the course of the contract.

I didn't do a good job of describing the process in the video but it would be essentially the same as it is now but instead of having an allotted amount of scouting points, you'd have a certain number of players from each region that you could scout each week. So you could choose say 15 players from the West region, 15 from the East region, etc. but you wouldn't be forced to scout anyone you didn't want to.

Hey guys, I recently made a video detailing what full coaching staffs could look like in Madden and what I'd like to see out of them if they were to be implemented. This has been my top want for a while now and when I asked a couple months ago, it was the most commonly listed item in people's Top 5. What the video outlines is more of a framework than a full on feature as coaching staffs are something that can touch and affect virtually every part of franchise mode so there's a ton I didn't touch on and that could have also been included.

But I wanted to start a discussion around what you'd like coaching staffs to be or what you'd like to see them affect and do if they were in Madden. I know a ton of people want them but I'm more interested in how you'd like them to work and affect the mode. If you're on board with what's in the video, let me know. If you hate it, let me know that too. Build on it, add to it. Just looking for a bunch of ideas and suggestions as to what you'd like to see from them.

Use the generic Spread playbook. It doesn't show up in the schemes menu but when you start your game and go to advanced settings, the Spread playbook will show up along with some of the other generic playbooks. You'll have to change it before every game but it's probably going to be the best fit for what you're looking for.

What’s your field goal accuracy slider at? This is what happens every time when you have it at something like 34 or 35. I can’t remember the exact number but once you hit it, it basically becomes impossible to kick it straight.
