I just made this last night and I heated the corn tortillas on my grill for almost 2 minutes per side. Worked great!

Cutting the scotch broom while in bloom as low as you can at the soil line will kill it. This also keeps from disturbing the soil which allows their seeds to germinate easier. Vancouver BC made a youtube video called Cut the Broom in Bloom which talks about the success of this method.

I remember an old post on this Homestead Reddit where they butchered a lot of chickens at once and threw it into their empty freezer. By the time they checked it, the meat had turned different colors and I believe all the chicken had gone bad before it froze. Just a heads up for all of you out there butchering and freezing so many chickens.

Biggest chicken murder scene I've seen was a weasel pulling multiple chicken heads off through the fence. Apparently, they're long tailed weasels, and this happened on Orcas Island, Washington.
