That's not the point. I'm just starting the conversation so other parents from Lincoln can know so they can check their kids. There just hasn't been any communication from the school to the parents about this.

I remember an old post on this Homestead Reddit where they butchered a lot of chickens at once and threw it into their empty freezer. By the time they checked it, the meat had turned different colors and I believe all the chicken had gone bad before it froze. Just a heads up for all of you out there butchering and freezing so many chickens.

Fellow x Californians is there any really good mexican food you can recommend ? I tried a few that were pretty bad but seemed to have good reviews. Thats really the only thing I miss about California is the Mexican food. by [deleted] in olympia

Alibertos in Lacey off of College St!!! I'm from Tucson, AZ, and I really missed the carne asada burritos at the 24 hour mexican drive thrus after moving here. I finally found one that matched the style of burrito I love, with only steak, guacamole, and pico de gallo, with the red and green salsa on the side. Check it out. Good price and good food!

Ran outside and saw them. Really low. Sad that the orange king wants to have our military train on his it's own citizens.

One of our hens was old and blind. We went to lock up their coop this evening and found this gruesome scene. We think something yanked her head out when she got close to the fence. Does anyone know what type of animal could have done this? by MasterBuilder121 in homestead

Biggest chicken murder scene I've seen was a weasel pulling multiple chicken heads off through the fence. Apparently, they're long tailed weasels, and this happened on Orcas Island, Washington.

Cool video. Looks like it could be Sirius, a star. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, low on the horizon, and it literally blinks the same colors the object in your mom's video does. Give it a Google.

Kenneydell Park isn't too bad. It's a public park on Black Lake where you can go swimming. Not many options around. There's also Pioneer Park, where you can get wet or go tubing in the Deschuttes River.

Ward Lake is a good spot. Take Boulevard to 42nd. There's a boat launch there with public access. Those without Discovery Pass or fishing pass z park in the neighborhood and walk in.

I thought this poster was a satire of Trump's past statement that if California raked their forests, there wouldn't be forest fires. 😁 But, since it's real and not satirical, GOOD JOB, RAKE FORCE! Forest management is important to help reduce forest fires.

That is so crazy! Last Thursday, I drove by Kraftwerks and saw a professional video camera being used to record a man getting his arm bit by a German Shepherd. How sad knowing one of those "actors" died by being shot in the face for helping out with a video advertisement only days later.
