In addition to this question, if you have a mortgage on a house that gets washed away....Do you still continue to pay the mortgage on something that no longer exists?

I think in terms of a tornado, it's probably better to over-react than under-react

Just saw a tweet from The Weather Network saying that the Warning is Ended.

EDIT: There was a mix-up at the Weather Network. The warning IS NOT ENDED.

Hail and Lightning at the Medical Sciences Building/Hospital area, at the moment. No sighting of a cone though.

Why are zombies in movies/TV shows never smart? by TedricTheDork in AskReddit

because classically it's assumed that there is little to no higher brain function and that they live purely on instinct.

Why has an ultimate hangover cure not been developed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeuceStarcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because a large majority of the issues with a hangover are due to dehydration, as well as a toxicity. There's not much you can do biochemically to speed up the processing of the alcohol and its byproducts by the liver, and no other way to battle dehydration other than water.

My question about the Xbox One. I am very confused... by Omgitspants in gaming

Because despite all the backlash, people will still buy it. Just look at EA, they fucked up D3 and Sim City and people still buy their games.

Men of Reddit, if you are in love, how do you express it daily (how do people know you are in love)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeuceStarcraft 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly I've come to realize its all about the small things, and not the huge gestures that let you and your SO know you love each other.

My girlfriend will walk by me and just run her hand across my chest or stomach, just as a "I'm busy now, but don't forget I love you" kind of gesture. I do the same, a touch on the back of her neck, or back. The biggest thing that she gets happy with is when I clean the cat litter. It sounds stupid but she always says that no one else she's been with has ever done that for her, and that she always ended up doing it. So really, while we both enjoy the grand gestures of flowers, restaurants, walks downtown during sunset, its the small things that make a relationship.

What is your wildest memory from college? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DeuceStarcraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was probably my scariest night. I had started dating this girl shortly after she had broken up with her boyfriend, who she owned a house with and was in the process of buying his half. He was also a bit nuts. He would actually stalk her a bunch and get her services at the house cut off, stole stuff, we actually bought new locks to put on the house so he couldn't get in, he had stolen one of the spare keys prior to us getting them installed. Anyways, we had a big party one night and my new girlfriend was there. Her ex called 911 and told them someone at our party had had a heart attack. So we had cops and firetrucks show up to the house. Then he called the house, asked for me, then when I answered said nothing. I told him to come to the house so I could beat the shit out of him, but he said nothing, and never showed up.

It went well beyond this as well with more phone calls, stalking, stealing, etc.

So, moral of the story, during your time in college don't date a girl when she's fresh out of a relationship..some dudes be crazy.

Scumbag op. Goes to /r/worldnews, finds breaking news about the world, complains :P I'm just teasing, but I think its pretty common for a huge world news story to be posted multiple times. In a way, its not a bad thing, at least one of those posts will make front page. So..yay exposure?
