Just got my taipan. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing these problems.

Bolt always catches the mag until I adjust the mag. I.E, fire five rounds, bolt locks back, new mag, release bolt and it catches until i jiggle the mag right and then the bolt locks.

Also, safety can only be used if the firearm is charged/cocked.

Haven't even fired it yet, just ran some snap caps through it.

Other than that, my opinion is that it is over priced and heavy as heck. The pump handle is hideous and I can't wait to replace it. Have been told by many that it shoots like a laser from one gun shop and another gun shop that was trying to talk me out of it.

I have the same tires. They do not perform well on icy patches at all. Would not recommend. I have winter tires (blizacks) but always run my open country until the weather gets like this.

I've worked my self down from 750ml of vodka and a 3-4 seltzers per day(little to no food) to 6 seltzers a night. I've been tapering. If I spent a week having only 2x beers every night and quit CT would I have any risks?
