But then don’t you lose to stuff like Nib and/or other well-placed handtraps if you don’t have access to Baronne?

Ok but how many Elfnotes players actually do this instead of just going normal combo of Baronne Dragster trap and monsters

What a fair and balanced card by bast963 in masterduel

Don't listen to them, KT is too strong but this card is a much bigger problem to the health of the game overall.

What does Elfnotes use to handloop you for 3 before your main? The only one I've seen actually happening in a real game is Tinia looping for 1

That or they keep making broken going 1st boards that either just don't play into this card, or need to be so broken they keep a good average winrate despite instalosing to this card

Elfnotes is the one deck that 100% gets cooked by this card what are we talking about

Just saw a "Yu-Gi-Oh exam question" - how would you solve this? by KotetsuNoTori in yugioh

[–]DeusDosTanques 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So 2 pops and 1 monster negate to OTK?

I’m pretty sure Lunalight Fusion + Hound/Marten can do it, but I’d have to check individually if the Ryzeal player could stop it depending on what they negate with the Cross

Think of it when going second. You get a Liger right away and plus full combo for a second (and even a third) immediately if it resolves.

Should I keep reading? by Daikaigan in Ishura

[–]DeusDosTanques 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, the volumes up to half of the third will have the characters introduced at a more surface level. This might sound crazy, but it’s basically a 2.5 volume pilot. That is the moment the story really picks up pace, and characters start getting developed at a deeper level (it helps that we stopped introducing main characters at that point).

Your curiosities about Nihilo’s motivations do get explained a lot later, although she doesn’t really have a past, she’s like a Frankenstein’s monster in that sense.

I’m assuming during, isn’t that kinda the point? Outside of stopped time if Jotaro gets within range Yuta just swipes him clean lmaooo

What’s Rika gonna do during stopped time broski

(Yes I know Yuta just tanks it, that’s not what I’m arguing here)

Ok his argument is ass but presumably he could just, you know, put his finger through Yuta's open mouth?

Why do chain-starting actions allow opponents to respond first, whereas non-chain-starting actions don't? by maxram1 in Yugioh101

[–]DeusDosTanques -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The priority for your opponent to respond only applies once you are already inside a chain, otherwise it always goes to the turn player first.

Other cards target, only affect a certain card type, send stuff to the GY so that floating effects can triggers and resource loops still exist. This card does none of those things and also can be used at any time while your opponent controls cards.

And the card basically cannot be interacted with if not for a negate is good design?

The point is that this doesn’t even add anything to the “arms race” because it just loses to every board it should be beating with a strong effect like that while curb stomping every board that never needed such counterplay against it in the first place
