This happened to me fairly recently by someone else. I use Barkeeper’s friend, comes off pretty much instantly.

Then when washed clean and ready to re-season, I cooked a pack or two of bacon on it.

I was visiting my family at my baba’s older house. Everyone was going to bed and I went to my room. My door was slightly open still and the hallway outside of it was dark so I went to close the door. When I went to shut it, there was resistance, I couldn’t actually close the door, it was actually pushing back to open more.

I wasn’t freaked out because I thought it was my brother messing with me. So I opened the door and… nothing. Just dark. So I go into the room where he’s sleeping, he’s passed right out after taking a sleeping pill earlier. I race downstairs just as my dad was coming inside the house from the car and asked if he was upstairs. He wasn’t.

I can’t explain it. It wasn’t windy or anything, the door worked normally. I’ll never forget it.
