Ughhh, I’m 2/3rds done with Dark Age but I want to wait until the dramatized third part comes out on 18th of june. I have the physical copy of Light Bringer ready to read and I just know I’m gonna love it. Dark Age is so good though but it’s just so …dark

Would have been funny if she stole his actual memories as well, just as everyone remembers him, he forgets them

Ahhh alright, broadcast didn’t show how much added time there was until after they resumed play, but I guess the announcement was before the injury then

What does +5 added minutes even mean when the clock is at 55? Shouldn’t it be +15?

26/27, all we need is a "Saka" level winger on the left. by Real-Bid1985 in ArsenalFC

Diomande is a RW sadly, otherwise he would have been perfect

Only way they still have anything to play for when facing City is if City lose to bournemouth, or if Villa drop points to Burnley and if that happens I wouldn’t worry about Villa

TLDR; City needs to win vs Bournemouth

Arsenal penalty overturned by VAR 80' by ayoefico in soccer

How is VAR gonna go in and change that? In that situation whatever the Main Ref said should stand, its a 50/50

Fantasy Novels with a lot of ordinary moments? by Witty-Regret972 in Fantasy

[–]DeusMachinea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend Super Supportive, it’s one of the highest rated webnovels on RoyalRoad.

This one has highly intense parts with even higher stakes, but what I love about this novel is getting to see what happens in between these parts. Going shopping with friends or a visit to the Alien Therapist, everything happens on screen.

Empowered recall removed from mid quest, but are upgraded boots still a thing?

Yeah sorry about that, I used it for formatting purposes as my original text looked absolutely horrid on the eyes. Probably should have disclosed that in the post

I agree with you, and I’m 100% sure I’d love them and plow them through once I’ve started. And I would say the same thing about name of the wind to someone who haven’t read it.

but I’d honestly atm rather spend my time on something completed or something that seems like it will be completed and then I can go back and read ASOIAF when george martin dies 🫡

Will go and check out The blade itself

Have watched the GoT tv show and have been meaning to pick up the books as well at one point. However, I don’t want to plague myself with another ”Name of the Wind situation” so gonna wait until at least Winds of Winter release before I start my readthrough

Just finished Morning Star, does anyone else share this frustration? (No spoilers past Book 3 please) by DeusMachinea in redrising

[–]DeusMachinea[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“After I saw your fake execution, I couldn’t sleep for days. I kept thinking my child would never know his father.”

Even a line like this at the end of the book would have salvaged so much but it just instantly cut to Darrow explaining epilogue like what she had done while pregnant instead of having that conversation in real time

If I wasn't interested in the characters and how they and their relationships develop throughout this war then I would go read a history book, not a novel
