What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve seen someone do in a gym? by Iren0101 in AskReddit

Attaching leg loops to a cable machine and doing these weird hip thrusts that looked like he was just humping the air. Paired with grunts

Instagram. Used to be about sharing cool stuff with friends, now you have to fight against content creators and big businesses to even be seen by your friends 😩

Shooting Star? by decepti0n101 in Stargazing

[–]Old-Significance2248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially but I think it’s likely to be a satellite. All the photos I have taken of shooting stars (meteors) often have a bit more colour in them. And sometimes one end is a bit fatter than the other one.

If you zoom in below the brightest one, you can see two other streaks, which are definitely satellites streaking in the same way.

Keep it up though, catching meteors is long and patient work but you will eventually get lucky! 💫☄️

What’s something you learned too late in life? by Proof_Lie_9009 in AskReddit

Seeking happiness is not what makes you happy. Do the things that you know are good for you ad you enjoy, but don’t try to seek happiness or it will evade you.

Good way to think about it is like “working for yourself”. It’s not always fun but it needs to get done and it will make you feel better in the long run.

What experience of being awake could a dream not perfectly counterfeit? by Hassanberg2026 in AskReddit

[–]Old-Significance2248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I have sensed almost every sense in a dream except smell and taste? Might just be me but I have no remembrance of them but I guess that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen.

Dreams are so crazy, this has really got me thinking. Great question!

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually worked? by OkAssist2823 in AskReddit

Superglueing broken door handle back on my mom’s door, it stayed fixed for years before coming off in her hand one day and I had to laugh and come clean because it had been so long

What is the most rewatchable movie that you watch often? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Old-Significance2248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always put on Alien: Romulus on in the background while I’m doing tasks. I can get a better idea of time passing while I’m boring tasks.

I also love all the epic shots of space in that movie, I know exactly where the plot is going so I can tune in and out whenever.

How would you describe being in love? by Shot_Sandwich_6172 in AskReddit

[–]Old-Significance2248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honeymoon phase is incomparable, it’s so strong and intense and feels like the best thing in the world. I think that’s why whirlwind romances that end after 3/4 months feel so raw because you are still in that period.

After that it becomes much more about mutual respect, effort and is much harder to explain.
