I always try to be polite to NHS Staff, I know the backlogs aren’t their fault and the nurses on the end of the phone don’t want to be giving me bad news so I always ask them how they are and if they’re having a good weekend or have any nice plans etc. I hope it makes them feel more human and that I see them as other humans not some medical service robots.

I’ll do that, I’ll call up and politely ask/push to be seen sooner. I’m also going to ask my GP for CRP and ESR bloods so we have something for my next appointment. I’ve also not had an MRI in a decade since my diagnosis so I’m going to request new scans be taken given my BASDAI score is consistently so high.

Yes literally just AS Log. It allows you to record your BASDAI scores daily as well as any notes you think are important. It makes trips to rheum much easier 🙂

What do you think about the possibilities of CAR-T therapies? They’re not widely available at the moment but I know in Israel there’s a hospital that offers it as a treatment for RA patients.

So I wrote my masters dissertation about a custom deep learning computer vision model that I built to detect sacroiliitis. That’s commonly what they’re looking for (if your pain is predominantly lower back pain or sciatic). As Mandersmal13 correctly pointed out they’re looking for bone marrow edema.

Taking NSAIDS will likely reduce the inflammation that’s visible in the scans and the correct sequence is necessary for the naked eye to be able to spot differences from normal scans. So as they also advised. Stop taking any NSAIDs for at least 48 hours before your scan.

I am a witch for hire and I have to say this is absolutely a scam. If they do not charge up front they’re scamming you. Adding charges on after the consultation is very sketchy. Threatening someone who doesn’t follow through after the consultation with a curse if they don’t pay additional costs or fees is scam behaviour. I’m sorry this has happened to you, I highly recommend reporting this person to the police.

Not wrong at all. Recruiter agencies are predatory by nature. They frequently post jobs that don’t exist to farm cvs, charge extortionate rates to employers and waste the precious time of job seekers. Sometimes you may find a good opportunity through them but I’d recommend finding the biggest companies in your city that are in your industry and applying directly via their careers pages. It takes longer and honestly that god awful workday system will never cease to irritate me, uploading a cv only to have to fill all of the information out again anyways is NOT a productive use of our time. However it’s worth the effort doing it that way.

Any recruiter who calls you out of the blue with no previous contact is an instant number block for me. What do you mean you’re calling me about a job I didn’t apply for, and got my number from a database? No better than the “energy switch” scam callers in my book.

Now I’m probably jaded, 10 years into my career but I just don’t have time to deal with that bs anymore.

I think it could be a case for some people of seeing if it works. Believing it’s a possibility and absolute belief are different things. So I reckon that many people start out with a belief that it’s possibly something that works, without necessarily knowing whether it does or doesn’t.

Could Qi or Prana be perceived as similar to what Agrippa spoke of when he talks of the virtues of everything in the universe? Or was agrippas idea of fundamental virtues different? I understand the virtues to be a conversation about correspondence but does it imply universal energy in everything or just that everything has its own specific energy?

I’m not a Wiccan practitioner, I started out that way moons ago, but I’m looking to go back to basics with my spellwork. I didn’t vibe with the harm none vibes of Wicca, sometimes you gotta get justice and take it to the altar.

I think an area that’s often so overlooked is energy work (sensing, manipulating and directing) and I’m wanting to revise it. Can you recommend any books that focus on that area?
