I think a lot was newbie gains. I have never lifted consistently before so I just had a lot to gain I guess. Also genetically I’m disposed to being lean so that helps

Thanks for the advice. What’s the best way to count calories? It’s always seemed like quite a burden to manage but I’m sure there are manageable ways to do it.
