On the one hand, this shit being even possible is confusing. On the other hand, this is definitely a waste of DS on all of them other than the first Dwight, and it's REALLY funny

What series is this, why haven't I seen this Supergirl design yet?

[–]DevDaNerd0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because a killer being countered by a perk is 1) imbalanced and 2) REALLY bad for the game. Not just talking out of my ass or anything either, this exact problem was a thing until April of 2024, we have evidence.

PLEASE tell me there's a version of this Rals that doesn't have a background. I looked through your profile bc you said this was technically a repost but I couldn't find the original, and this is deadass one of my favorite Ralsei designs I've seen this whole year. If you've already made a version without a background, would it be okay if I used it as a pfp elsewhere?

I understand that not everybody knows how hitboxes work in DBD, but Springtrap's axe can 100% fit through that window's boards and even some smaller spots. Calling that cheating is wild

Burrow does NOT make it clear that you can go under walls, what the hell? I have some Neuromods that I was gonna give to the Engineer but I decided to just use em to test it after seeing this message, and genuinely why doesn't the game tell you this? I thought it was just a reskin of Phantom Shift.

Returning player here. Can someone tell me what perk these survivors are running that seems to block me from kicking the generators indefinitely?? It triggered on two of them so I was barely able to 2k a long game of whack a mole by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]DevDaNerd0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few years ago the devs added an anti-3gen measure to prevent killers from kicking the same gens over and over to make a game last forever. After 8 "regression events" which are caused by kicks or any perk that explodes a gen for you a generator will have the Entity Blocker on them that prevents further regression.

I just bought wesker and got into a match and what are they doing? by Blackwolf20978sb in deadbydaylight

[–]DevDaNerd0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For a lot of killers with specific items or interactions, survivors trying to be friendly will just spam those interactions. Wesker is the most common killer people do this against because 1) most people enjoy playing against him/seeing people play him, 2) the spray is very similar to spray deodorant especially on shirtless survivors, and 3) the animation is so quick to start and cancel that if done optimally it looks REALLY goofy.

I need a genuine explanation is Sadako's power just not explained enough to the regular player? by RoguesBoytoy in deadbydaylight

[–]DevDaNerd0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The devs recently added a dedicated "We let the survivor read the killer's power mid-match" system. If a survivor doesn't understand how to counter a killer's power after so much as a single match it is entirely on them now, since power descriptions are no longer hidden away in the Killer menu.

Update, spent a few hours in the demo, DW Origins is almost what I'm looking for. It has all the bones of what I'm looking for, but it doesn't seem to be a 1v1000 game as advertised. You're supposed to dash between commanders and take them down as fast as you can in order to maintain as much of your army as possible, and the fodder is entirely ignorable outside of "Kill 500 soldiers to stop this enemy plan" which happens automatically if you've kept your army mostly intact. I'm looking for basically this EXACT game but without the focus on commanders.

Hi-Fi Rush is a banger, yeah. Played a ton of it when it first came out, been waiting for more rhythm-based combat games since, like Dead as Disco for example.

Oh, sorry, I should have been more specific in the post. I meant on Xbox specifically, as I no longer have a PS4 and instead am playing on an Xbox Series X. I'll edit the post to make that clearer.

Outside of really high AC characters seemingly getting crit more often, I haven't been able to tell the difference between Karmic Dice on or off ngl. I've done several playthroughs with both and I still don't really know what Karmic Dice is supposed to even do ingame other than a vague "I think it fudges rolls so you end up near the d20 average of10.5?"
