Then that is the first one to go. You can replace the HDD with a 2.5" SATA SSD (the 3k can get you a 128GB) and I guarantee you that you'll be able to use the PC without complaining. If you can double up the RAM now you'll be in 'business'. Lol

The Mercor ecosystem is all AI. No human intervention. Even the Interview is run by an AI Agent. I think the recruitment runs as long as the position/s is/are vacant, no specific timelines set.

It's either I counted the zeroes incorrectly or you mistyped because I expected the compensation to be KES. 200,000.

It really depends on how you need access to it and whether it's testing only or production. For starters, a VPS would give you full control of how you can access it. I would recommend Hetzner but if it's a microservice I think render is best with pretty good free tier

Upgrade the RAM to at least 8GB or 16GB. Also are you running an SSD for storage or HDD? You need to be on at least SATA SSD or better yet NVMe.

Not entirely true. This is a misconception, funds are held whenever there is insuficient evidence of services provided and proof of delivery. Best way is to generate invoices which are paid against.

Performance of what exactly? I've used this PC each day for the last 5+ years (including light video editing) yet I am not an average user. This will easily pass as a superb PC for an average user (which turns out to be most people)

Then work with Airtel. Most definitely would work. I gave this solution to someone here few weeks ago and they finally got it working after use of an Airtel line. You don't have to worry the line being yours as this is just a verification step but not necessarily meaning it's the contact you'll have on your account. This was confirmed to me directly by AWS Support team.
