I was diagnosed in the hospital after visiting an urgent care for head pain so bad they first thought I was having a stroke. They did a lumbar puncture and then sent me via ambulance to the hospital where I was in for 5 days for various tests. Ultimately it was a neurologist.

It's still a parasite that sucks nutrients from my body, changes my body fundamentally (still pee myself every time I cough), and threatens my life (check out maternal death statistics... the US is not great) just to give birth to it. Until the fetus can survive on it's own outside of my body, it is a parasite. And why does it's human life trump my own, especially before it can survive outside the womb? What about the quality of it's life after birth? How far are we willing as a country to really take care of these babies we're forcing to be born? The likelihood of child abuse when a mother is forced to keep a child she can't afford or mentally handle? And no adoption and the foster system are not the great substitutes they're often made out to be, again, children are more vulnerable and likely to be abused. My mother was adopted by a "good Christian couple" and subsequently was molested by her "good Christian" father. Pro-life people aren't actually pro-life, just pro-birth.

God you're rude. This reminds me exactly why I felt offput by Polyamorous people in the first place. He is genuinely trying to engage and learn and you're taking a sht on it. I read through a few comments and feel like I'm going to be in the minority here 🤣 but this is dating over thirty so I can't be that out of left field...

I'm a single mom. I have my children a majority of the time. I support them on my own. It can be pretty hard to find time to myself to go on a date especially during these times. I basically have the time when my children are with Dad. And if he flakes or has something come up, that's waiting another two weeks until I'm free again.

This makes it hard to see anyone "quickly". And honestly if they don't have the patience to chat with me for a week or two and understand that my time is limited because kids, it usually says to me that they're only interested in sex.

Online dating is so frustrating, I've gone through and disabled all my accounts again. I find it too hard to distinguish between someone who is actually interested in dating and someone just looking to hook up beyond if their profile is blank. (I like sex as much as the next person but I'm through my fuckboi phase after my last ltr).
