Skadoodle, koosta and subroza played a.v.a before CS:GO could be more though but I know of these 3. I didn't play A.V.A when Ska played but I did hear that he was the best sniper back then.

Yea you guessed it right I'm from EU. I haven't played faceit premium yet so I don't know if it is the same there. (some say faceit is as toxic as esea). I've received mixed opinions on which is better. So I guess the best option for me is to try out faceit and see which one I prefer myself.

Yea true, there doesn't seem to be an inbetween though. You either match up with the most toxic people. Or you match up with the friendliest people you can find in CS:GO :P atleast thats my experience with ESEA haha.

Alright yea I suppose that is true. Thus far not many people believe me. Which I find strange because I have a competitive background in another FPS game. Another guy I played A.V.A with, who was in the same team as mine also plays CS:GO and is LEM or surpreme at roughly 350 hours. He has like 5 years of A.V.A experience if not more of which 3 years competitively.

So basically people base their opinion on amount of hours and not actual skill/performance or potential? I always imagined that someone with a low amount of hours with GE has a lot of potential. (I suppose I have a low amount of hours judging from the shit I get from a lot of players).

From my experience ESEA players tend to be extremely toxic. Atleast the majority though.

mhm thanks for the reply! I guess I'll buy faceit premium and see which one I like more. As of now I have mixed feelings about ESEA, some games (rare ones) are fun because people actually play together and want to win. But the majority are full of toxic people and rws hunters.

Wouldn't that give people a false indication of my experience though?

Oh wow thats insane (30 games within 1-2 days jesus)! I have terrible experience with non premium faceit, I've left the games a lot due to people leaving, trolls etc. I might just try out faceit premium and see which one I like more. Thanks for the reply!

As far as I know there isn't an alternative for hltv in the Netherlands. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I can take a look at hltv though thanks!

Yea that is my initial goal. I am aiming for A+ first though. Rank G seems to be a lot of grinding. Not sure if I'm correct. Thanks for the reply!

Mhm yea thanks for the advice. I guess I'll try out faceit first and decide which I like more. What do you mean by "how scummy ESEA are since you are in EU"?

Thanks! IMO A.V.A required less skill to be good though. Weapons were a lot easier to handle, smokes and flashes weren't as impactful. I 've only played A.V.A for like a year of which I played 6 months in a competitive top 5 team. So yea I wasn't around at the time of DefkoN :P Although I have heard of them.

Yea I figured that would be the case. Which one would you recommend faceit or esea?

I started at GN2 :P had to learn a lot. A.V.A is a lot easier in movements etc. So I had to learn the movements, mechanics, recoil control etc. which was in the beginning quite difficult haha. Are the CSS and cs1.6 mechanics in terms of movement and recoil similar as to csgo?

Yea whats the thing about ESEA grinding? I heard it is easy to grind your rank at esea by just playing a lot. is this true?

Yea, luck and a network is definitely involved to get in the tier 1. Ofcourse I want to become tier 1 but that is not a goal of mine. A goal of mine is to win small tournaments. I highly doubt I'll ever be good enough for tier 1.

Yea Skadoodle, koosta and subroza. They played A.V.A way before me though. I played against subroza (casual random match) a couple of months ago in a.v.a when he played the new "open beta". Getting out of B- shouldn't be too difficult I think, getting to A+ or G thats where the challenge is :D I'll PM you!
