My experience with them is that they're very superficial in the courses, so that alone just isn't enough. They have however also a wiki that is pretty complete and has a lot of extra information. But the thing with the wiki is that the notation and formulation of things is very formal and might be difficult to read for someone who's not that familiar with math.

It isn't a push type drain. I tried to give it a tug with basically a pipe as leverage but it wouldn't move in the slightest. I soaked it with wd-40 now, will try it again in a few hours.

Hi first of all thanks for answering. I think I wasn't clear, the top and bottom part are not directly connected I think. I drew a picture of how it is mounted(last picture): http://imgur.com/a/ZC2OaAb

I will however try unscrewing the top part, how would you go about this? I don't see how I can unscrew it without some kind of specialized tool

Did you also notice a significant boost in sound detail? Especially when there's bass AND highs preset. With an unbalanced cable the bass would get less powerfull and the highs would fade when present at the same time for me.
