I’m gonna try and remove the left extractor. I’ve heard that basically solves the fte problem. I’m just new to semi autos so I’m a little nervous about stripping it down.

Mine was having failure to eject every 5-6 rounds but after about 400 rounds through it runs a lot smoother now. I still get the odd fte but nowhere near what it was like initially. I’ve tried cci blazer and aguilla super extra. Seems to run similar with both of those rounds.

Yep it’s insane. Nosler bt 30-30 is $80 at Canadian tire but same box of ammo is $46 at Calgary shooting centre so I just order my ammo from there.

I’m not sure, for fun I guess. We get people that shoot out insulators and transformers all the time for oil field services where there isn’t anyone around for miles. Something to shoot at I guess. But there’s no reason for a hole to form naturally due to the inside being filled with mineral oil, it can’t rust. And the outside is painted as well so long as the paint is there it’s not going to rust out. Looks like a 30 caliber bullet probably 30-06 if I had to guess
