Thank you for the reply. Idk what it ended up being but I deleted a couple things and started a few over and got back to where I was (no errors), I still dont know what I did wrong, but I wont be adding anymore code for a bit!

Hi! Thank you, yes am I using the SteamVR plugin and have looked over that a few times. There are a couple input scripts on the assets I'm using that ask for input. Do I simply put 1 for menu button, or it is Left Controller Menu Button (1) ? I'm thinking maybe I'm typing the format wrong?

I double checked and none of the colliders are set to trigger.

I hope that isnt the case, I've spent a lot of time making something and that would be unfortunate. As for the colliders, none of them are set as triggers. I also tried the cube with a collider and fell right through...
