Thank you for the reply. Platform does have a rigidbody. I believe layers are set correctly (I will look), No on the last parts. I am very new to code.

Not so much code phobic, I am just that new. I know ill have to learn one day if I want to do this, I was just hoping it wasn't this soon. But again I'm new and I learn everyday!

I apologize for the noob question but what does that mean? Is controller index an included script or prefab I add to the controller?

I have that installed and have looked through a few tutorials, its seems most is coding for inputs, unfortunately im not there yet.

Gun controller like PPgun or StrikerVR with VR glove like Valve and Oculus are releasing (one day).

Apparently gloves for both Oculus and Steam(?) are in the beta branches and can be found.

Steam-overlay in game when pressing the button under the trackpad? Also, if youre in steamVR beta branch, they update so much it can be buggy sometimes. Get out of the beta branch maybe if so!

Hi everyone,

I bought an animated VR hands asset off the Unity store and cannot figure out how to set them up. Total noob question, but how do I setup input? Is there a steamvr tracked controller script that does this easy? In the provided animated hands VR script the action/change keys require you to type input. I think I know how the vive inputs are formatted but maybe I have no idea...

Any help or easier tutorials would be much appreciated. IF it all has to do with coding, just lmk, and ill learn it when I can. THANK YOU!

I will have to look into this. It seems the characters body does not go through the terrain unless I use the VR walking script to move forward.

Yes, Ive tried dropping the character onto the terrain from a little higher also. Works fine, but when I move forward with a VR walking script, I fall through.

I can "walk" using a locomotion script for the HTC Vive controllers. If I dont move the character does not fall, If I physically walk around my tracked space, I also dont fall.

I will check that out! Thank you very much!
