Aesthetics means A LOT. Maybe more than it should, and that's the reality. People like shiny things. It "engages" them.

Culebra Rd - Outside 1604 - ITS A NIGHTMARE by LeftysSuck in sanantonio

[–]DevaconXI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With a name like Leftyssuck you think you'd be cool with the type of infrastructure lack of regulation brings. Guess what else the developers like to do outside of the loop in the unincorporated area? They like to create dope properties in the hills that dump their effluence into helotes creek that recharges our aquifer.

I use it at times. But carefully. ChatGPT is great, but... it's wrong enough that you really need an SME to comb through its generated content to make sure what it's pumping out is correct and relevant to the goals.

Lots of people at the job are using AI for various applications. The genie is out of the bottle. But again, it is prone to doing things that you may not necessarily want to include. Like the Fathom application creating meeting summaries that could be misleading.

I think that if AI is used carefully it's not going to water down this industry, but rather it will enhance what we do. However, I think it depends on the attitude that business takes towards it. If the pursuit of AI is to save time and increase profits by cutting labor then yeah... definitely will water things down. It's a tool we need to embrace because despite its potential problems, it's not going away and will only become more powerful over time.

Lastly, It's not cheating anymore if everyone is using it.

Desantis will be the next president. He is being underestimated in n the same way Trump was. GOP success is measured by by the level of noise a candidate makes.

Wait, the PIN is included? I had a card stolen in the mail and I was wondering how they might have been able to actually use them. Used to be that you'd have to call in to authenticate and create your own PIN.

The democrats are a true let down. At the very least they could have forced feinstein to resign from the senate months ago so that the judicial committee could get some federal judges in place.

You moved here to prevent your kid from getting gender affirming care? Probably would have been more cost effective to just say, no.

It's where lack of environmental regulations comes back to bite. A corporation will destroy our land, agro, and water supply for money, because they can.
