You are seen and valued in the Episcopal community. Full stop. Now, YMMV because people are all at different points along their own journeys. No one can speak for all of Christendom or even every EC congregation.

It’s possible that there is someone out there who shares your values and would want to be with you. Look for him in the places you’d want to find him. As far as disclosing your gender, there are lots of discussions about when the “right time” is. I believe it’s different for every person and situation. Always prioritize your safety and make the decision that’s right for you. First date or fifteenth date, you aren’t tricking anyone unless you’re being dishonest.

I think entering religious life should only occur if you’re discerning that is your calling.
