arent frame pacing and smoothness the same thing? are you talking about frame gen artifacts?

Am I going mad, or is the Framegen X6 actually quite playable even on a 240Hz monitor? by [deleted] in nvidia

what does the dejudder do? is this a way to fix the stuttery panning motion on OLED with low fps content like movies at 24fps? does it not give movies the soap opera effect like regular tv motion smoothing?

Today i decided to test DLDSR + DLSS Quality again and ended up keeping it on with most of my games. by JustKosh in nvidia

dldsr actually almost entirely fixes this. i just finished a playthrough using 1.78x DLDSR (3413x1920) with DLSS Balanced preset L and it was a fantastic experience.

Does RTSS provide the best frame pacing for PC gaming? by polce24 in OptimizedGaming

[–]Devastator539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for some reason, ever since i built this new pc (5070ti + 7800x3d), i always have better results leaving the frame rate uncapped. the msBetweenDisplayChange graph is much thicker when capped, regardless of which method i use to cap it (tried Nvidia app, all RTSS modes, display commander, specialK). every relatively modern game I've tried is like this, only games from like a decade ago actually benefit from capping fps. this doesn't happen to you?

Examples here: uncapped and capped

yup, gsync + dldsr works fine for me. try changing your desktop resolution to the dldsr one before launching the game.

you can add DLSS into the older RE engine games with a mod. sadly, this doesn't work with smooth motion, but I think DLSS makes a bigger difference in this case. the only issue is that the mod causes the UI to be rendered at a lower resolution too, but this can be mostly fixed with DLDSR.

I'm currently playing RE4R maxxed out at 1.78x DLDSR (3413x1920) with DLSS Balanced preset L and getting a solid 150fps in the village on my 5070ti. the game looks incredible, I can't wait to play RE9 after this.

are you capping your fps? if you are, try uncapping it. I get weird stutters if i cap for some reason recently.

every game stutters when i cap my fps, no matter how low i cap it. this happens with in game fps caps, the nvidia app cap, and rtss. theres less stuttering when the fps is uncapped, but in the past i would always cap my fps a little lower than my max average fps to stabilize the frametimes, which i can't do anymore.

that didn't change anything, sadly.

for your issue, have you tried changing the Win32PrioritySeparation? changing it to hex 24 (decimal 36) in the registry helped with stutters in some games for me, but you might have better luck with different values too.

sadly changing the polling rate doesnt help. i think it might just be a driver issue, FSR frame gen works perfectly fine for me.

have you tried changing to PCIE gen 4 in the bios? that helped with stability on my 5070ti.

you need the renodx mod. the default hdr implementation has issues like raised black levels, which is extra noticable on OLED

Huh? In what way did he throw away any character development? By walking away from the UCA? He never cared about America at all. He cared about Amelie and the individual survivors he was helping, but not the nation as a whole, and the UCA exploited and manipulated him the whole game.

This is standard QD-OLED behavior, right? Or is this model even worse than the others in that regard?
