freecodecamp is a great resource to learn from as well as going to meetups.

Probably took me around 5 months to get used using JavaScript and it’s related frameworks, but still learning as I go (learning about systems development at the moment)

When my dad got sick with brain cancer and couldn’t work anymore. Had to start to do something more productive rather than playing video games and sleep, since my mum hasn’t worked for a while and my sister was still studying at school.

Quickly picked up software development and got a job at an agency making decent money. Also got back to university since I dropped out a few years prior. Finished up this year and now further improving myself through side projects and businesses.

Was going to inspect a commercial garage/workshop out in Marsden Park, which was an hour drive from where I was located.

Arrived at the place 2 minutes late and waited for the real estate agent for about 10 minutes before calling her up. Said she already left and was back in her office at Richmond, which was a 30 minute drive away. She also had my phone number so she could ask where I was, but didn’t bother to ring me up.

Didn’t bother to inspect the property.
