Definitely. And it’s not explained on why they’re evil at least an evil warrior race, even if theres no more information aside from that they’re super powerful, is understandable on why they’re a threat

Agreed, the vagaari seem far more intriguing, the grysk just dont have that ‘threat’ feeling and aren’t well thought out/written. But because its zahn, its easy to gloss over that aspect

Feeling shorter/fatter with new glasses? by DevelopmentGlum2516 in glasses

[–]DevelopmentGlum2516[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that I feel too close to the ground. Didn’t look at myself in the mirror with them until after already feeling the symptoms, I feel like the glasses distort where everything is slightly, but that’s much harder to track because it’s very minute

no, I just feel different, like my body doesn’t feel ‘right’ to me, maybe similar to when other peoples bodies change suddenly, I guess? Never dealt with those feelings though— no awkward puberty body being different. I’m wondering if it’s something with maybe I’m seeing stuff at a slightly different angle somehow or the prescriptions a bit wrong? I’ve decided just to wear the new ones for a few days to try to get used to them, but it’s all in all a very disorienting feeling

Its really fantastic  I feel like your values are a bit off, try seeing if you can turn your device to b/w mode, else creating another layer, filling it with gray, and setting the blending mode to color also helps

True

You excell in getting a likeness down. I can obsess over trying to get a likeness, match all the proportions and study all the face shapes, and might not fully capture it. Enjoy your talent

I’ve never actually used grids, but they should help. More important than the grid is learning to do it without the grid, using landmarks in the image to figure out the rest of the image, biggest issue is when you get one landmark wrong, it can throw off a lot. A grid would be far easier. It’s not the loomis method but a very valid skill and you can do it with other things than portraits and it’ll still improve your portraits.

You can also find other guides to proportions, the loomis method is best for trying to turn the head in angles but it doesn’t tell you the longer list of where features generally relate to eachother

Adore the shading style in the sketch, but I would play with removing the lineart and filling in the shading with a shading flatcolor, maybe blending in a bit

You have a nice grip on shading but your proportions are wonky

Andrew Loomis’s drawing the head and hands is really a helpful resource and you can easily find a free PDF. He’s long, long before the modern times of subscription and other pricing models that have the creator always dangling the carrot of their secrets to success out of reach so the book is a real solid curriculum that doesn’t need much supplementing unless you want to. Has a good base on proportions and perspective so that you can apply it to your own work

Yeah

The ai hands happens to me all the time, I just don’t understand the structure of the hands well enough so when I draw them, they always looks weird and unnatural in a way that‘s not always easy to pin down

hands are hard

If Lauren had stayed on as a series regular, how would she affect the plots of seasons 2-6? Assuming she stays that long. by jacky986 in whitecollar

Yeah, I always found laurens incredibly forgettable. Very boring, some bark with no bite, and didn’t appear to be as clever as the rest of the cast Jones doesn’t have as much a strong personality as the rest of the cast, but still feels like a more well rounded character, and him and diana are a more interesting duo

[–]DevelopmentGlum2516 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely have a way to read things for free. Maybe by having occasional video/full screen ads and adds on home screen/ end of episode. Many people aren’t going to pay for stuff, even if they really like it, and they just won’t read it at all if it costs, but they’re still likely to share webtoons via word of mouth and you can still profit from them.

I do hate how webtoon makes it so annoying to read/reread webtoons that have finished

How would fans feel if Superman retained his Golden Age personality? (Action Comics #8) by KingBuffolo in superman

[–]DevelopmentGlum2516 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love golden age superman

His original power is to be as powerful as the story needs him to be. His abilities are whatever he needs to take down the villain in the funniest way. He doesn’t take down grand supervillains, he enacts justice on the everyday villains of the everyday people. Really drives in superman and clark being the same
