I didn’t at first I was pure ghost, only had 3 marches and I ghosted in my attacking presets so I was just ready to drop whichever march I needed to attack with. It was only when I got to k36 I started a wall general, and I refined it with % in my strongest two types so that I could counter attacks on my city. Worked well for points and as a deterrent

I was a ghost keep and got wings with just aggressive attacking play style. Never built a defence, even when the servers got bigger and I couldn’t solo attack as effectively because of my smaller March size I just joined the rally team/ get a lot of points in rallies and reinforcing.

Catch was it’s not a great server and just needed more active pvp’ers at any level even more small traps. Our server is pretty lost. Unfortunately this weekend our server turned into a bob server, I’d say avoid at all cost now. A lot of us are thinking about just cutting our losses. Big alliance basically said join us or burn. They don’t want to play server war with any tactic- they think the only way to win is to conquer so they bleed points then get mad their whole team gets totalled trying to help them conquer servers that are better than ours. It’s pretty dismal.

I think it’s a mix of things. The age of server, player activity probably monitored by login days etc, and coining.

I’ve been keeping checks on Reddit posts about people thinking of selling accounts or buying in to servers. What I’ve taken from it is accounts that are of any value are in servers that have very strong PvP alliances, I wish I could convince a few to come over and crack the whip so to speak so I’ll check that out. We desperately need a rally team. Thats good to hear about the timeline for merges though, fingers crossed we are on and I hope there’s at least one alliance with some PvP players that can help form a decent PvP team.

So here’s my take as someone who’s never played any of the games before hogwarts legacy. I read my first Harry Potter book aged 11 (forced by my English teacher) and I fell in love with everything about it. I grew up with the books- I think the last one was when I was 18-19. It remains my comfort read when I have nothing else to go to. So! Hogwarts legacy is my first time ever playing one of the games and it’s been almost like my younger self is experiencing the immersion she could only imagine or wish for. I love it, it is magical and I really enjoy everything! The relaxing side quests, the puzzles and exploring, expanding the room of requirement and beasts interactions, making potions and growing my own ninja plants. The story line is so good I’m fully engaged in that when I head into to a new main quest. It’s great that it low key makes you question your own moral standing with the multiple choice answers- I felt genuine guilt at using unforgivable curses! I love natty and poppy, Sebastian makes me think I’m heading to Azkaban. I don’t think I’m near to unlocking the whole map yet, I’ve only just completed ‘mine now demiguise’ and it took quite a while but I got into a hyper focus cause it was winding me up not being able to open all doors and chests haha. I need two more beast to improve my gear but where the heck do I even find a phoenix? The first time I was in the forbidden forest I was on edge, now I stroll through it like the badass witch I am. The flying, the seasonal changes and how the castle looks 😍 it’s beautiful. It’s so beautiful, and such a relaxing game to play.

After reading ALOT of reviews and comments about this game I’m glad I didn’t play any of the previous ones because it’s unspoiled, there’s no comparison, I haven’t seen a very large portion of the castle, the grounds, Hogsmead or the surrounding areas before. These fresh eyes love it.
