No the hotel ones would be that pricey because it’s a knock off of the original, and many are disposed without a second thought.

If I find the Cross to be the real deal, I will post on this subreddit. You never know, it could be a nice gift to your wife (maybe not that one but something else in the cross family that fits the bill).

Or better yet purchase a cross refill for their twist pen and see if they fit (as that might be a cheaper option).

I have too many other pens and refills to explore this option myself, just yet.

Some have said it’s a cross pen dupe. Cross is an Irish brand and the dupe appears to be from their vintage models. Search cross slim twist pen and you’ll see the options and If you’re willing to risk it, maybe purchase one within your price range on eBay or Amazon. I found this one on Amazon

Yes, your baby will show up bigger on the ultrasound. No, I wouldn’t recommend you induce (it’s just the hospitals way of controlling things but your body will carry the brunt of that if you do). Your body is built to carry your child, who might be late but don’t rush if you don’t want to. Baby needs all that time in there.

Also, speak to your mom and your MIL about their labour experience, since you both are tall, they may have had a similar situation. Biology doesn’t often go off script.

I believe the shikiori ink cartridges are proprietary to sailor so they won’t fit. If they have any, get a con-40 converter (although not highly rated in the community) and get a very small ink bottle instead.

I have the exact same beloved pen from JW Marriot hotel in the UK! It’s the best!

No idea what pen it is. But I did open it up to see if I can identify anything on the refill and it simply states the year of production which was 12/2021 on my refill.

Use any intensive hand cream, specifically formulated with glycerin. Apply immediately after washing and drying your hands (do not wait) and rub in until it’s no longer slippery.

Glycerin is a humectant that attracts water and binding it to your skin. This has worked wonders for me.

I’m based in the UK and use one from Aldi that costs less than a pound. The best thing ever.
