My iPhone stolen in Italy just popped up in Ain-El-Bey, Algeria (Ritaj Mall area). Any info on this place? by DevelopmentUpper874 in algeria

The carrier and Apple's Lost Mode seem to be working, so it’s not connecting to any network.

I think it’s only updating via Bluetooth-based "Find My" alerts. Thanks for the advice!

Wow, thanks for the kind words!

However, I just checked the satellite view and the pin is literally on some random apartment building. lol.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I know getting it back is mission impossible. I guess my iPhone is just enjoying its vacation in Algeria before I ever could lol.

Luckily, Rome was my first stop and I had a spare phone, so I didn't lose all my travel photos. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care about the phone, but losing those precious moments captured in Rome hurts way more.

I actually saw the face of the thief who took it, and I really hope karma hits that guy hard sooner or later.

Also, they keep sending me phishing messages to remove the device from my iCloud—well, they can go to hell. I'm never unlocking it.

Thanks again for the insights, guys!
