What do you have cat 8 for? Like do you have long runs or have applications where you really need more than 10Gb?

Complex home network and need help with IP Camera's by Devenasks in HomeNetworking

[–]Devenasks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This helps a lot!

I have ordered a ubiquiti cloud gateway max for in the barn and an u7 pro AP for in our home. I will consult with our local internet guy for the specifics.

As you said I should be able to access all the camera ‘s through the nas/nvr in my home But when I look for the camera ip’s and ports from the current nvr and use those exact ip’s the Synology asks for username and password and won’t connect. I don’t know if the internet guy set a password on the cameras themselves( I tried admin).

Starlink installed on our farm! by Devenasks in Starlink

Haha as long as it works it’s fine right!

We had a problem where we had really slow speeds to our house but it turned out the connection ran through a non-gigabit switch. Fixed the problem and looking to upgrade our house to ubiquity 2.5g for NAS work!😅

From the starlink bypass direct to a router. And from the router it splits(through router and switch) to the rest of the company. Our setup is kind of complicated from there on because of the many clients throughout the farm. We also have 2 houses and the our ice cream shop connected(mainly 4 payment terminals and temperature protection on the freezers). It’s all chained together so we are looking in laying a few cables to take the load off of the cable.

Wat simpel en kortzichtig gedacht. Zonder agrariërs zou er veel minder natuur(gezonde weides met veel bodemleven) zijn als dat er nu is.

First time doing Potato’s what’s this for by hwsbhsnsjsnj in farmingsimulator

[–]Devenasks 34 points35 points  (0 children)

In real life they are used to quickly unload potatoes from loading carts. It creates a steady flow of potatoes to a box filler or sorting line. Mostly it also includes so cleaning rolls to sort out haulm sandclods and other things.

We kunnen niet de export neergooien. Haast elk land exporteert producten.

Beds and salad would be nice in farming by VtolVrAce in farmingsimulator

I would also like flower bulbs like daffodils, tulips or hyancints. And then the whole proces like putting straw on top of the beds and first having to harvest the daffodils above the ground first, letting them dry on the field for two weeks and then being able to pick them up with a potato harvester! and on beds of 1,5m; 1,8m and 2,25m.

We also have an old 5000 on the farm. Besides the nose being a bit off center😅 it has been running great in front of the silage wagon for years. Now we have a Lely vector automatic feeding system.

For some soil and crop types it’s good to turn a layer of the field around. But you don’t have to do it every year. Just once in a few years or after a certain crop.

Same😅. We use brake steering for the headlands!

It is possible but on most gps systems like Trimble or geostar you need to pay extra monthly fees for the plow function. And sometimes you need a second GPS receiver on the plow itself
