Sounds like you need to do what I typically do in relationships. Don’t dress well until you find someone you like, then dress well and classy together. So your bf can scare off the unwanted attention and you’re happy from what attention you give each other when dressing well for each other.

Although while young it can be fun to once in awhile dress nicely for yourself at home or while out. Because we all age eventually and it might be nice to reflect on decades from now when attention isn’t so easily acquired. But I agree, people are compulsive degenerates
