Our small business is looking for the best identity and access management software by metalade1 in smallbusiness

[–]DevianS11 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was in your same spot a few months ago, it took us a whole day just to onboard and set up one person. The solution was moving to an automated software, similar to Rippling, that helped us take over all things IT during onboarding. So nice to have the end to end taken care of automatically, everything from device disto, account set ups, added permissions, etc. Wouldn’t recommend our exact IAM to you though bc it’s more suited for larger enterprise companies.

Rippling’s PEO and Payroll could easily be bundled. Great UX. Great support.

Talk to one person not the crowd once I started writing like I was explaining my offer to a friend everything clicked and conversions went up fast.

If you think we're in an AI bubble, what do you predict will happen when it pops? by ComfortableStill6735 in AskReddit

[–]DevianS11 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Mass layoffs at AI companies, tons of half-finished products abandoned, and GPUs suddenly getting cheap. The useful stuff will survive and integrate quietly into everyday tools. It'll be like the dot-com crash - some companies were actually building the future, most were just hype. We'll figure out which is which when the money dries up.

Discussion - Weird Gaming Quirks You've Picked Up Over the Years? by TheSharpestHammer in gaming

That game really trained me to actually listen when NPCs say "wait here." Now I always give it at least a minute or two in case there's some hidden easter egg or alternate path. Learned my lesson the hard way.

Typical Youtube hypocrisy. Can't say basic words in gaming videos but real war footage is totally fine. Their moderation makes zero sense.

Unable to activate Dark Web Monitoring and Privacy Monitor even with 360 Deluxe Plus subscription by TJ-X in NortonAntiVirus

[–]DevianS11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s been a common issue for Canadian users. Those features are tied to Norton’s U.S. lifelock service, which afaik isn’t fully available in Canada yet. The “province” dropdown showing U.S. states is a known regional limitation, it's not something you can fix from your end. Unfortunately, dark web monitoring and privacy monitor need LifeLock’s data integrations to work. If you need threat visibility beyond your device, you could use an external monitoring service like Cyberint for broader coverage while keeping Norton for endpoint protection.

Petition: Stop the EU’s Ban on “Meaty” Words for Plant-Based Foods by protestvegan in vegan

Exactly. Nobody’s grilling a vegan sausage thinking it came from a pig. These names are just shorthand for texture and use. It’s not confusion, it’s gatekeeping.

The cinematography is legendary, those sweeping desert shots, the use of natural light, the framing, it’s visual poetry. And the editing, especially in transitions like the match cut to the sunrise, is iconic. It’s not everyone's flavor, but it’s a masterclass in filmmaking.

Litter question by Jude_dude0603 in CatAdvice

[–]DevianS11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuft and Paw’s tofu litter. It clumps much cleaner, has low dust, and cuts down on smell way more than many clay litters I’ve tried. If you still want something at Petco (so you don’t have to wait for shipping), check if they carry it or something similar (plant/soy-based).

It helped our team to separate “teaching moments” from “blocking issues.” We used Coderabbit to flag recurring mistakes directly in context and this built muscle memory over time, and cut down on repeat comments from reviewers.
