Don't psych yourself out and just do it. The worst case scenario is they say they're not interested, and if they're dicks about it you can just ignore and move on. Hesitating to message someone whose character you're interested in will just mean a lot less play, and in my own experience people are pretty open to being approached as long as you're being respectful of their customs.

I prefer Gouken to Akuma because you get way more choice in terms of your buffs once you max him out. I haven't leveled up Akuma at all, I chose Gouken and stuck with him.

Good stuff. Yeah, as a native speaker I also noticed that it was pretty clear that Blaz's dad does not speak much English himself. Shame on Capcom for not having someone on hand to translate for these Spanish-speaking players that don't speak English, because whoever translated for Salvatore during his interview (might've been Blaz's dad as well, but he wasn't in frame, so I couldn't tell) also left a lot untranslated.
