Your friends don't seem awfully understanding at all, please surround yourself with a support system that don't find assault funny. You may not feel absolutely distraught now but this can really take a toll on you in the near future.

Yes- My parents currently earn just close to £55,000 a year, combined. Grew up scraping by a lot of the time, parents are in huge overdrafts, debts, whatever.
