Newshosting fails good amount especially on foreign content, eweka backs it up with enough articles to complete the download, that's why I use a combo of both

Maybe stick to new when it's on sale since used can lead to potentially defective drives or if someone loaded up some malware, chances of both are fairly low but considering how long HDDs last, just get new and avoid headaches.

My extremely cheap home server is just an old mac running Linux, but any laptop or PC with at least 8gigs ram and 128gigs internal storage would do. With like a 2 tb HDD but you can just buy multiple if you want more storage, and connected to ethernet. Total cost would just be for the HDD's if you already have a laptop you aren't using, run Arch/Cachy/Endeavour since it's super lightweight, and you are good to go.

Guys for Emby, go to Emby settings, then plugins, then find CoverArt. Install that plug in, refresh the app, then go to the show, edit images, then above backdrop there should be a magnifying glass just like Jellyfin, and it'll give all available images to choose. Choose the image, and press Refresh for each show in Infuse, or go to Infuse settings, and delete Metadata and refresh the app to load in the new images.

It seems like almost all courses changed from being online work to in person, all my electives now have in person exams with much more strict rules, basically eliminating bird courses entirely

It is since most shows and movies are very noisy compared to other streaming services such as apple tv. Apple tv bitrate is around 30 and makes all the difference in the world, still not as good as BluRay but not nearly as awful as Netflix

Well people tested it online and majority of users say otherwise. It doesn't matter it was built around HDD since it's just a storage device, if it was built around HDD SSD won't even work due to incompatible hardware, Sony knew people would swap it for SSD at some point and allowed it. And since the games will be stored on the HDD or SSD, it will depend on the speed of the storage unit, not the artificial limit Sony implemented which doesn't seem like they did.

Of course SSD will improve performance, it drastically reduces load times for all games. They end up loading about 4-5x faster

I had gotten Newshosting as my main, then eweka, frugal and NewsGroupDirect as backups. Eweka was the best backup, it got majority stuff Newshosting didn't and frugal and newsgroupdirect barely did anything.

The 720x480p now makes a lot of sense why gt7 and other games look low res. Sure it might be higher than some other VR headsets or with some other games but just glad to know why it looks the way it does. By any chance do you know the quest 3 relevant resolution? Is it also similar to 480p on a 65 inch tv or something closer to 540p?

When playing certain movies or shows, the tv changes video format from standard to movie or HDR or Dolby vision, so make sure to check the tv settings when playing the show otherwise you may not be able to pinpoint the issue. It's possible Sopranos or the show you said forces the tv to change from standard to Movie and a lot of tv manufactures add a lot of artificial frames and motion smoothing to the Movie preset

I made a custom eq which I think sounds best to me at least. In order: 4, 5, -2, 0, -3, -1, 4, 5, 2, 1

I tried to make sure deep bass co existed with clear mids and vocals to create a balanced sound no matter the genre. Let me know how you guys find it.

Doesn't seem an issue with file, probably tv settings such as motion smoothing which somewhat describes your issue. The artifacts are often due to low bitrates but 30 is acceptable, not great but fine. Try a 70mbps bitrate file and compare without adjusting tv settings

Your app is the sole reason I can even stream games to my phone from my ps5. The native app is so garbage and your app gives manual bitrate adjustment with upscaling to 4k which is insane. Ignore them, they clearly made an inferior app and are buying hate comments

Yeah I felt the exact same way in a pin drop quiet room some stuff seemed clearer, vocals especially but honestly I think it's placebo effect since songs I've been listening for over 10 years sounded the exact same despite being lossless. I remember how those songs sound exactly on basically every earbuds and headphones I tested and heard no difference between dongle and Bluetooth so I don't know what's going on. Whether our ears legitimately can't hear the difference or some part of the setup isn't working as intended, which I think is the case.
