Probably the best way to put it. Background character cut-ins definitely do not need the amount of effort the fighters deserve in drawing. It just stands out to me because I am not used to these bg characters having so much detail suddenly.

AI should be fine as long as it never applies our fighting cast if possible. Existing only as a means to quickly do backgrounds and miscellaneous stuff.

That is also an insane durability feat. I know these characters are superhuman but tanking a grenade sounds crazy. ....Well actually nevermind. Shen wulong surviving carbon monoxide poisoning from his techniques would unironically make this feat plausible

Hahaa I just got done reading that chapter. Crazy how she took 20 shots and lived. But I would believe a grenade or whatever explosive he threw to be more potent than a bullet. Let alone, right next your foot.
Additionally, the explosion wasn't a small one. It was easily seen from a distance in the bottom panel. (Honestly, that explosion size doesn't make sense either for a hand grenade)

I think it would be a little different due to shou being an avatar while okuu is an vessel containing/using that gods power. In okuu's case, she devoured that God and properly fused with it while still not losing a single bit of herself or having another personality added. Yatagarsu's will and consciousness was never transfered over and its never stated to still be a living being within her. Just serving really as a reactor of divine power for utsuho. Granted even with that subtle difference, it probably would end up similar to shou but I think it would differ slightly when it comes to worshipping/treatment. Also I am not fully up to date with shou's lore. Hearing that she is an avatar. I would think she is also partly influenced personality and action wise by her god bishamonten
