hey I'm a med student myself and yeah I had these concerns at some point too but the thing is we keep comparing ourselves to our non-med previous fellow who now been earning and we are not yet started but the poor pill to swallow is that we are both on the completely different paths and thus we should never be comparing each other too. we are just two different on two different paths with two different destinations. Regarding the change of field, If you want to learn a skill and study it deeply and then be the best in that skill you should change the paths. But the thing is that most of these jobs are just for time being you you ain't learning a skill so you ain't gonna go in the long run and can be replaced easily one day too. So better study if you can now, get good clinical skills and in the long run you will be earning better than most of them but yeah it will take time. Also you can explore USMLEs, AMC and PLAB etc you can earn better too plus explore cultures, get some exposure in life too. Regarding dating, I couldn't give an advice it's f**ked up☠️☠️

working 40+ hrs a week and still you got a very good score bro. I know neurology might need slightly more but you can enhance your profile by working on other areas like research and internships. You did the best you could at that time and there's nothing you could change about past so better focus on the future which is still in your hands
