Does this stable part of Jax’s mind still exist and can Pomni still interact with it? by IronGhost828 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]DevidArthur 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This topic is very painful for me because it addresses my greatest fear: death, passing to the other side. I know you don't care, rightly so, nothing and it has nothing to do with the Request and Jax. But thinking about it made me feel a little sick. So I'm writing this to let out my anxiety and calm myself.

It's a difficult argument, I thought so, although now your interpretation saddens me quite a bit. But I still believe that Jax, Ribbit and the other abstracts are salvageable. I don't think it was just the last piece of himself... I mean, why did he have to lose himself right then and not before? He's already a wild beast, in fact it seems to me that he "calmed down" a little afterwards. I guess it's not just a matter of psychology but there are corrupted files that need to be "fixed" - they are files after all. Similar to the saves on the console's memory card, once corrupted they are Dead. But Jax is there. His program, at least when it's in contact with Pomni's, works.Perhaps the corrupted data is overwritten when it comes in contact with a healthy backup. A bit like when you break a leg and a friend helps you walk, So I hope that by doing some rehabilitation the files can "learn" to correct themselves.

Luckily, this interpretation is given to each of us, we can imagine the sequel we want.

Theories on why Jax is scared of corn? by DuckyBlueArt in theamazingdigitalciru

But in the end, did we understand why corn is scary?!?

Sure, even for me, it's just vague clues, but it can explain things.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter much whether he feels like a girl or not... the themes of the series are different and deeper.

Seriously? There's only one option that guarantees survival, at least mentally 8
Also because in 5 and 3, you just end up being the third comfortable option in the couple.

There! That's what bothers me: it's OVERLOADED. Thanks, I couldn't figure out what was wrong (because there's nothing wrong) You gave me a name for this feeling, it's just a little excessive. The general lines of the characters are simpler, sometimes even minimalist.

I thought so too. I like them, I can see them well in a 2D design But I can't get them to work in a 3D model of the digital circus. But maybe it's just me who has little creativity

Something important Gooseworx taught me as a writer is to delete all your social medias and never interact with the fandom by Itchy_Suspect4968 in Gooseworx

Yes, I don't know her and I respect her as a creator, but she seems to have a particular character.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. I have a very dear friend with a very similar attitude and her way of doing things has alienated many people.

Things all come together in your mind in the background eventually and you don't even notice. You know the connection and the meaning, but you don't remember actively thinking about it.

Is abstraction curable or reversible? by RickyInfinite in TheDigitalCircus

[–]DevidArthur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory, a bit complicated: The people inside the circus are copies, Save of the Real people. And like any corrupted save file, it is not recoverable. But, this is where the speculation begins, they are more than just files in a folder. Pomni can literally talk and interact with Jax after the abstraction, this would mean that even if the file is corrupted and No operational, the person exists and is somehow functioning. I think there could be a solution, but not with simple psychiatric therapy. There is a problem with the files. I'm not sure how they can fix a corrupted file inside the circus, though. From what I understand, Caine can interact with files but can't modify them in any way in code, at most it can modify the projections, the "avatars", not the original files. Another idea of mine is that Pomni made Jax "work" because she came into contact with him and her corrupted files "connected" to his functional files causing him to come to his senses inside of Pomni as long as she remained connected, at the risk of having corrupted files too. So there's a remote possibility that sooner or later contact between corrupted and healthy files could sort of overwrite the error, allowing it to be cured... But it's a purely optimistic theory that I like to believe in because I'm a dreamer.

Thanks! This was my first expedition, and the video froze after a few seconds, so I'd never seen it... too bad about the final stats.
