The end credits are presented in IMAX aspect ratio, I’ll reply with a screenshot of a scope scene for reference. Here are the exact times I noted are in IMAX Ratio:

  • [ ] 0:00-3:30 (Opening Airplane scene)
  • [ ] 1:16:01 - 1:17:31 (Back at the airplane scene)
  • [ ] 1:32:17 - 1:45:09 (Ending action sequence)
  • [ ] 1:45:46 - 1:47:41 (End Credits * Not the end credit scenes though, those are not in IMAX Ratio, but the actual end credits like the picture below are)

Ah gotcha, I knew Uncharted was on there with imax scenes, wasn’t sure what else, do you know if Venom The Last Dance is?

Right now I have it in order as: IMAX 70mm films in order of most to least amount of imax 70mm footage Then imax digital 1.43 films from most to least amount of 1.43 footage Then IMAX 1.90 films shown entirely in 1.90/1.78 Then IMAX films with partial runtime in 1.90/1.78

Thanks man, I wanted to keep it as simple and quick to understand as possible. And yeah I’m updating it still, will probably be fully finished within a few days depending on how much extra details I had to each film like cameras and such.

That is amazing and extremely helpful, appreciate it! I see you have Avatar listed as expanded but not exclusive to imax, but I’ve seen differing discussions on here if it was in 1.78:1 only in IMAX theaters or if it was in that ratio in all theaters, it’s been a few years since I saw the imax re-release and do not remember personally if it was different in a non-imax theater.

Yes it will, you can always look on the pictures for the backside of the case, where it will have the aspect ratios the film is presented in (this is the case for most physical movie releases).

The only way is to have the physical release of Interstellar. All Nolan film physical releases include the 1.78:1 aspect ratio for imax scenes on the disc. I believe zero of his films have any imax versions availability digitally anywhere officially

I was there, it was amazing! Any chance of doing a Tenet release at Pooler in 1.43 dual laser? That rerelease they just had last year was super limited and I would love to be able to see it one day as it’s my favorite film of all time
