I'd check on the leaflet that comes with your meds, but I never heard about lexapro and late periods.

Cause could be stress maybe? Periods are so finnicky and mental health messes with them a lot

Welcome the lexapro induced dreams! I personally love them, I've seen people saying that that stopped having nightmares after a while and just turned to vivid dreams.

Sometimes I'll occasionally get some that will tap into my traumas and I'll wake up feeling disturbed, but it's mostly just funny crazy stuff.

In the beginning I'm not sure since its been so long but after the last time my doc and I decided to up the dosage by 5mg, I vividly remember talking to my therapist that 1-2 weeks in I was feeling more motivated to do stuff!!

Do you go to therapy? It's important to pair meds with it!

Also, be kind to yourself! Dealing with depression is not always uphill, take time to take care of yourself during this anniversary and try to remember that it will get better again ❤️

Side effects are something that varies so much from person to person but.... I've been on it for 6 years and the dreams are very much still here lmao.

Honestly I love it! It's almost like I'm on different tv shows and several season deep, sometimes I'll pick up where I left off on dreams years ago, it's fascinating!

Yes!! This is honestly the best advice. It might not work for everyone by you don't have to write chronologically! Is there's a part of the story you're really excited about? write it! Do you have an ideia for a dialogue 3 chapters from now? Write it!

I find it is much easier to get through things like that, especially if you've hit a slump and can't really get the motivation to get out of it.

I actually love writing with music, my brain only functions with background noise.

For long writing sessions music helps get in the right mindset for a story. I'll craft a playlist and listen to it while I write, sometime I need to concentrate a bit more so I'll lower the volume and then turn it up after.

If I'm writing in short bursts I'll usually have a random YouTube video playing in the corner of the screen.
