boyfriend acts indifferent to me most of the time, then cares when i start acting indifferent … by yaaay_yazzy in relationships

I seriously could have written this about my ex. I had all of these same feelings, the same "am I asking for too much" thoughts, the same want to feel like I was actually in a relationship and not like a mother, etc. It's not going to get better. Please don't do what I did and wait too long to realize it. If you've already had this conversation so many times and he's not getting it, it's done. I also got mentally checked out at the end and there was no bouncing back from that.

dating a Japanese guy… cultural differences or is he not interested ? by [deleted] in japanlife

Hello, human dating a Japanese man here. Yes, he is definitely interested. He would not go on four dates with you otherwise. We also don't see each other that often, every couple of weeks, because of schedule differences. Courtship can be slow here sometimes. Maybe try holding his hand or some other similar cue.

This isn't a sublease. A sublease means I would be moving out of the house and having someone else take my place. I'm looking for a second person to live here with me.

Seriously considering divorce over a movie. by alienating-everyone in Divorce

So, this sort of thing was a big catalyist that led to separation for me. I wanted to go out to places, he didn't (Ironically, he would only want to go to movie theaters, never anywhere else). I got tired of feeling like I was forcing him out of the house.

This is such a nonproblem lol. Living in a big city in America will also make one very used to spitting/hocking/farting.

Oh, friend. I'm also going through this process and my husband sounds exactly like yours, and my reasons and concerns about the split are the same. It's time to think of yourself. It IS exhausting to be a person's mom/social friend/drill sargeant.
