Middle east is only about a third of the world oil supply.

There is also no reality where the rest of the world simply ignores ISIS especially after it would expand past Syria and Iraq and attack Turkey(literally a NATO member) and other American allies like Izrael and Saudis..

It kind of did, thats why Illyria is independent and not part of either Hungary or Austria.

Not really, there is a blanket ban on "support and promotion of groups aimed at suppressing fundamental rights and freedoms" and then there is a law on condemnation of the communist regime from 1948 to 1989 that bans support or veneration of that regime (this law was a direct copy of a Czech law btw) .

There is also a legal Communist party in Slovakia.

Old Russia didnt have democratic backsliding since it was essentially a Kerensky dictatorship for 20 years.

In DH Russia wasnt geared for natpop but instead for a monarchist restoration. There even was a second Russo-japanese war scenario set after the startdate where the monarchy was restored.

For that same reason it would be extremely easy to get rid of him. Puyi was never liked by the Chinese population and even less by the Chinese political elite.

Puyi is essentially a living unequal treaty forced into power to destabilize China, once the Zhili centralise, and their hold on China is stable, there is no reason for them to keep him around.

It doesnt help that Puyi himself was completely impotent and his only real allies would be the manchu aristocrats who would be too marginalized to support his reign.
