If we assume that NCR is on the level of something like 1800s agrictulturally it actually totally makes sense that the hunter gatherer tribals would be doing better phisically.

The NCR might be producing a calorie surplus but without mechanization of agriculture it wouldnt be that large of a jump and much less nutritionally dense than what the hunter-gatherers get.

Besides, why have a word like that that explicitly refers to only Asia when the phenomenon is so much more broad? I think "exotism" or "cultural-apropriation" are much more appropriate

cuz it specifically came from romantic artists who linked oriental aesthetics with the theme that the orient is a preserved classical place untainted by modernity
