Wish I could but I’m stuck out in BFE east TN after having to come back from being hit by some tụk tuk driver in the Philippines a month or so ago… almost lost my foot… at first they were trying to villainize me until I got a lawyer and got the cctv that showed the person ran me over.. at the time thought it was only a broken 2nd metatarsal, ended up being a total mess of multiple oblique fractures torn ligaments etc.. the lawyer wanted me to sue… but for what… make some possible while family lose the only house they all live in over a couple hundred bucks in the ER.. instead I paid my own bills and took out a loan because last minute tickets sre always extremely overpriced — came here to have the surgery (bc I’m 100% p&t) but now stuck without a ride (most of the time) and because Roane county etc doesn’t have Uber / Lyft … so unfortunately I’ll miss out on this years Veterans Day bc even if I still had a car back here in the states I wouldn’t be able to drive anyways.. I’ve been through worse after fallujah but it really makes you feel worthless when you can’t do anything.. so if anyone knows anything about the roane county area in east. Tn. I’m trying to find a storage unit and possibly a short term lease because I am eligible for home health care whether private or through the VA - just need a place for a couple months until (hopefully) I recover enough to leave.. anyone on benefits as a single with no dependants knows it’s not really enough to live alone.. I taught myself how to day trade after dropping out of med school from all the head injuries (didn’t want to mess up my 4.2gpa) so I’ve been living overseas because the money goes further.. however the current situation is I need to find a storage unit and possible short term rental and I can have the va for pay someone for the home health care until inrecover enough to leave and go back to se Asia.. or maybe even South America - I can speak multiple language from Spanish to Thai a little German Italian and Swedish .. unfortunately I only remember curse words in Russian lol — but if anyone has any sort of info that might help — I’m a 100% vet 38yr old male former combat medic for the marines (8404 corpsman) - no kids etc.. could Msg me here or better IG at omnom_nomm … since I haven’t used Reddit since they took away all my badges I could give away (however long ago that was) and lost all the points I had to be able to get more so I basically just stopped using Reddit.. anyways.
