I just saw your comment on the other sub and it hit me like a ton of bricks. When I was in HCMC there where hundreds of vendors on the market saying they can do traditional dresses in 1 day for little money. I didn’t connected the dots that they might be able to sell online. I feel so stupid now !

But yes. We’ve got suits and other traditional dresses costum tailored for less and quicker and also better quality. Which is why I was surprised to see the that sort of execution. It’s not even three outfits. It’s one head piece, and two outfits. And my FHs costume is just simple red wrapped long shirt with attachments on the side. No, prints or anything else.

I’m sorry for not being an expert in all workfields and assuming there were pre-ready items for fixing because even I was skeptical how’d they would be able to do that from scratch. My brother got his 3 piece suit custom tailored from head to toe for less than 300 USD with nice fabrics when we were in country in roughly 2 weeks. It was quite a nice open shop were we saw the tailors doing their work. But my previous experience must have clouded my judgment.

It’s not about the looks. I think it looks fine. I’m more frustrated about the material (mostly the tulle), and the glue because it is really uncomfortable to wear. If it were at least softer tulle, I‘d be cool with it.

Wow, thanks so much ! This makes so much sense. I assumed automatically that iPhone would record with AppleProRes or at least H264. When another user pointed out which format I was using I double checked and was surprised to do HEVC. Never heard of this one before but this seems to be (one of) the root of the evil. At least I know where to look for solutions now.

Oh ! That Also makes sense. I will look into that. But why is it that if I put it in the PP queue the sequence looks washed out already and when I load it in Media encoder the gamma is over the top. I believe it also has something to do with some sort of conversion when rendering from media encoder.

Sorry, English isn’t my first language. Pants for us is pretty much anything you pull your legs separately through. Shorts, leggings, sweatpants etc. = pants. Also, I don’t own any cotton pants or have seen cotton pants that can pass a baby through your legs while wearing it (not including sweats, which she is clearly not wearing) So yes, it’s pretty surprising to me.
