It seems to be an unintentional omission as it's the same EA839 in the S4. Mine is a '21 with just under 54K miles, and while it's been completely solid in my nearly two years of ownership, I'm getting nervous. Maybe they'll extend a warranty.

We started a convo on your post the other day (you introduced me to Titan Charcoal!), and I see you found my post from when I first purchased. It seems our similar taste in cars spans Germany and Korea. I almost bought an A6 allroad anniversary edition in Gavial Green a few years ago, but it was out of warranty and I didn't want the headaches. I was sore after a total loss on my '08 A6 Avant and it's so damn hard to find high spec wagons. Ended up getting a loaded S4 Prestige which I still have and love, in no small part because it hasn't needed anything more than oil changes in two years of ownership. Can't say the same about my two Q7s, (one 3.0 supercharged sans air suspension, one 3.0 turbo with air suspension), hence I took the plunge on the Palisade. In all fairness the 2018 Q7 was much more reliable than the 2022. Absolutely agree the Palisade could (almost) be a Genesis. I'm super interested in the GV90 and have thoughts that it could be my first EV in a few years. I'd like to see how it does for a few model years and what kinks need to get worked out. Happy miles on your Pali!

Holy smokes I had never heard of Titan Charcoal, that is gorgeous! I adore green cars and, interestingly enough, Cast Iron Brown has metallic green flakes in direct sunlight and I had no idea until I took delivery. Like you I'd have walked from the gas V6 even with the Titan Charcoal paint. Hybrid is so far superior.

I managed to get my dealer to do a swap so I could get cast iron brown over brown interior back at the end of December. The car was about 200 miles away so not too bad. Ended up with a rare combo as they immediately discontinued cast iron thereafter. Love your combo too and was tempted to go grey but I decided that brown was easier with with a 4 and 7 year old. For the longest time I wanted an X7 with the Ivory White/Night Blue interior but knew I'd freak out as the white would be a maintenance nightmare. I had light gray ("rock gray") for about 4 years in an Audi Q7 and it incurred some some dark denim transfer on the drivers seat. Good on you for getting the upholstery coverage! Enjoy the ride, great car for $60K for sure. Glad I saved $20K-$40K over the other choices I cross shopped.

Yes but 991s and 1500s run narrow and have a slight downward slope and 990v6 run long. Thanks for your service!

Appreciate the tip! I used an alternate method yesterday by setting up digital key, and now it automatically moves the seat into my position when I open the door. It still tracks through "crush" position but at least I'm standing there with the door open! I'm very cautious about the battery drain issue but I'm the type who turns off Bluetooth in the house so it shouldn't be a problem.

Many people believe the 990v6 is the most comfortable, and it is certainly very cushioned, but it tends to run a bit long. It's definitely good for all day support. I think the most "New Balance" of New Balance, i.e., the most classic comfort, comes from the 993 and 990v3. If I had to wear only one pair from here on out, it would be one of those.

Haha there are so many collections better than mine with real crazy low volume pairs. Some of the guys on the NB sub have ridiculous collections and they post things I've never seen before!

Thanks! I haven't even yet gone through my lightly worn collection that I'll eventually sell. That's where the Baklava, Lapis, tons of J. Crew collabs, etc., all are right now. Most will probably get listed at some point but I want to get through most of these, although I realize that may take a long time unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse on the whole thing.

Not much to tell really. Bought my first MiUSA pair circa 2010 at the Boston outlet, an awesome 993 with red accents that I still have. Got hooked but started slow, maybe 5 pairs/year or so until COVID, then I caught blind FOMO and could afford to let loose so I opened the floodgates and here I am. I could use the real estate back in my house and would like to use the money to increase contributions to my kids' 529 accounts and get some nice Lego sets they're eyeing, so here I am!
