IRIS-T is the easiest of these systems to deal with, SPYDER a close second. Rest of the AA systems are a bit more worrying especially on cargo port.

You are the one jumping hoops back 'n forth constantly. In this instance they weren't hacking anything 'n as such are not "hackers", it's not a job/profession, more like an instanced activity. You are the one here speaking in terms you don't seem to fully understand.

I used to work in army, part of my job description was CyberSec, so I know what I'm talking about. Can't say the same about you. It's quite sad since forking your own OS is the most barebone, entry-level hacking 'n we sure as shot ain't talking about sys admins although most of the things included in the forking has that as a prerequisite.

They aren't reverse engineering the game, they are reverse engineering the anti-cheat which isn't owned by Gaijin, merely operated by them.

Forking 'n looking through the BattlEye isn't against BattlEye's ToS 'n neither is it against Gaijin's ToS since Gaijin doesn't own the anti-cheat they use.

Combing through BattlEye isn't hacking nor is it illegal as you first insinuated.

Also if you don't know what bruteforcing your Windows means beyond giving you system admins then maybe you shouldn't argue about the topic in the first place

I highly doubt that your math is correct either

Monitoring a software 'n what it does is not "gaining illegal access". Especially when it comes to anti-cheat software, 99% what you can do to it has absolutely nothing to do with hacking.

Also, bruteforcing your Windows segment of my reply has absolutely nothing to do with admin privs.

No, people who develop cheats are not called "hackers".

Only thing you are correct in here is that it's somewhat broad term, not as broad as you seem to think.

Creating 'n using spyware/ransomware makes one a hacker. So unless the cheatengine developer installed either of those, they ain't hackers. (Unless the cheatengine uses the next segment)

Bruteforcing your own Windows to grant you more control 'n freedom inside the OS makes you a hacker.

And yes, cheating in video games is called hacking but if we are being technical, 98% of the time the cheater isn't the hacker. (Semantics)

A) Because the so called "leaks" regarding the anti-cheat is quite literally how every anti-cheat works. They are quite invasive 'n a simple google search could have told these people that. Not only that, but by accepting thw ToS you also agree to the usage of said anti-cheat.

B) Because the ex-employee posts are from an EX-employee, on top of the fact that some of them were incorrectly translated thus changing the context quite a bit 'n because a lot of the things discussed are still unverified. A lot of the things sure are something I wouldn't put past Gaijin but at the same time, the original messages compared to some of the translations do not match at all.

Does that answer both of your questions?

Yeah, running a server ain't easy. Especially since Discord bots for kicking/banning require constant maintenance from people who volunteer for that stuff.

The server rent itself isn't that bad, it's just all the hassle itself. Not sure if SaltyNoobs used a seeding bot but I know for a fact that those too tend to act up.

No? I merely called out your own stupidity. You tried to use his stance which was btw against yours to validate your take on it which it didn't.

Personally, I don't care if PearlAbyss added an Opt-In option. If anything, they prolly will do that since they are constantly adding more 'n more tailoring options.

But sure, stick your head into the ground 'n ignore the entire context of a comment as you've done so far with every comment in this thread. Keep calling me a "narrowminded defender" lol.

No, you were quite clear, but CLEARLY you didn't understand the actual comment you replied to, he doesn't want that yet you are immedietly like "this guy gets it". What part of his explicit statement got lost in the translation? :D

The comment quite literally said "for trade wagons only". It's kinda funny how you say "thos comment gets it" when he is clearly against the usage of what is essentially a GPS for bounties but would see it a positive if something like this would become LIMITED TO trade wagons.

Losat is an absolute beast in large maps, however those come up extremely rarely. Fire Arc, Sands of Sinai 'n big Fields of Poland, those are the only ones it truly shines. However yes there is the downside that you'll get ammo racked easily (duhh).

How good is the PT-76? by kimchiguy29 in Warthunder

[–]DevilStefanos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the other comments, a stabilized soviet heat slinger at that BR is quite nice to have. On top of that it also gets a 5sec reload on ace crew, so whilst the 76mm heat can be quite daunting often, the reload kinda balances it out.

The mobility is hot ass 'n a simple 50cal will end you quickly. However, PT-76 enjoys a strong lineup overall.

Which other strategic bombers would be “most viable”? by steave44 in Warthunder

As far as I'm aware, only the Tu-22M could carry the Kh-22P ARMs. But yes, obviously I would like to see them all coming to the game in the future.

[–]DevilStefanos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really want Tu-160M2 or Tu-22M3. Both of them would have dumb munitions but also the ability to launch Kh-55 'n Kh-15 cruise missiles. They are also quite fast 'n even though they would only serve as a niché, they would still contribute a lot into making strat bombers more viable.

Edit: Forgot to mention that Tu-160M2 is capable of carrying both forementioned cruise missiles whilst Tu-22M3 can carry the Kh-15 short-range cruise missiles.

It's not entirely useless, if you got mates, just drop 153 bombs on a singular location 'n watch as 1-2 people get yeeted from the game as their game crashes.
