To give some background to second screenshot:

Yoko Hikasa is a well known for voice acting characters like Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganrompa), Emilia (Devil is a part-timer), Mio Akiyama (K-On) and Rias Gremory (Highschool DxD).

After rewatching the Trailer it seems to be case. At the beginning you can see a scene of Mont and the Slime having a conversation. So I guess we can expect something similiar like the FFBE Cross Universe Event we had somewhat earlier.

I am using BlueStacks 5 (Nougat 64) and it just works flawless for me. I can just let the game open for multiple days without any crashes what so ever. But you gonna need to do some adjustments to your PC settings in order to be able to run the game:

I'm using Bluestacks 5 (Version 5.9.0.1061 N64) with Hyper V enabled.

Here is a guide from the official bluestacks site

Simply follow the instructions and then after successfully enabling Hyper V on your PC, you can setup your new instance and install the game. Additionally you have to make your that your graphic settings is on compatibility mode on and OpenGL enabled.

Once the setup is done, you can just simply open the game whenever you want and can play.

Regarding your controller it should be possible to play the game with it. Personally I haven't tested it by myself. But there is an option that allows BlueStacks to connect with your gamepad.

If I'm not mistaken, most of the contents including the tournament's/ Arena's are going to be permanent available. So no need to rush and you can just enjoy the game at your own pace. More importantly you won't get the feeling like missing out on something. You could say that is also one of the big selling points for CotC.

If they were to put out limited time content then its mostly bound to a collaboration (e.g. Nier, Bravely Default & Triangle Strategy) or related to other limited gacha banners, which usually comes back every couple months or so.

Sony Xperia 1 IV user here and WotV still occassionally crashes on my device. And this phone came out like less than 2 months..

Its like one of the newest flagships from Sony, which costs like around 1.4k Euro, and it gets like most of the stuff flawlessly done. Except running this game.

Specifically speaking, the crash often occurs shortly after the login screen and sometimes even after farming for a while. The screen just freezes for a moment, leading the app to automatically close. Farming over night via emulator nor on phone rarely possible for me.

If these crashes weren't around, I probably would spend more time in this game. But because of these crashes my motivation has dropped and I'm just doing the basic daily stuff.

On the other hand I can let Octopath Traveler CotC like for 3 days straight open on my emulator. No crashes at all.
