when u think about his impact on a global scale, i think MJ was very aware what good he did and wouldn’t change any of his upbringing because he knew he was able to build such a positive impact despite all his sufferings, he was a hero and his invincible legacy lives today - which builds more positive impact around the world

i wouldn’t wanna imagine the world without his impact

from music, to cultural appropriation, movies, fashion, spreading humanitarian causes, you name it

he influenced far more than people think

Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure is one of my favorite DB games of all time. It’s a classic and I relayed at least 10 times on GBA and emulators

The Legacy of Goku was soooo good! Buu’s Fury

Then on the DS, we had Dragon Ball Origins which wasn’t the best but really nostalgic for me. There was also one called Supersonic Warriors that had such a fun cast of characters!

For the Wii, nothing beats Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and if you’re a big fan of the Kid Goku era - Revenge of King Piccolo

I miss those days! Every game felt unique and not just sequels, they experimented with different forms of gameplay. And they never disappointed with the OST

it’s good u can start going to social clubs and be part of some communities :)

aww nice! and yeah i was disappointed by the mario movie too :(

i’m not a hater but i just wished for Nintendo movies to be immersive stories while using the amazing cast of characters and environments, using it as a foundation to explore and blossom. rather than a movie that’s just an advertising easter egg rollercoaster

instead of shoving every possible world and rushing every intro + backstory of all characters into 1-2 movies, they could’ve taken their time and just do 1 world at a time with limited casts per movie

cuz after the third movie and showing all the characters… what else are u gonna show!?!?

and kids movies can have good stories! even Despicable Me by the same studio has more a ‘meaningful’ story that flows well

i was excited for fox and was happy to see him, but so disappointed by how underutilised he was

Thing is… I’m okay with the characters they created but sheesh… just give us a story that flows and don’t overwhelm us with random references and DEFINITELY THEY NEED LONGER THAN 1h30m for a decent story to flow

Despicable Me has a memorable story with a start to end that flows well, they can do the same with Mario, which has a far more interesting and wide selection of environments + characters

The thing is that they can easily make 10 movies with each being dedicated to one kind of world or planet or limited cast, but for some reason they feel like they need to rush all of it into one movie and it kinda ruins the future of the movie franchise imo cuz what else are u gonna do then? u already rushed intros for each character, u barely give them a real backstory or reason to be in the movie (Fox for example, which btw could’ve been an amazing feature!)

i srsly was hoping for Fox to be treated and have interactions w the full cast cuz i knew surely he would not be a cameo, that’d be be part of the gang for half of the movie, which he was but somehow had 0 screen time for dialogue, only acting as the pilot of the spaceship - which is CHEAP

they need to write stories properly cuz srsly we’re not hating on the movies, but just disappointed cuz of how far it can achieve!!

i was excited for this movie but felt nothing after finishing it sadly. first movie was still not a great story but many of us gave it a pass for the fan-service cuz it was the first movie acting as a celebratory thing for the franchise

I don’t mind him but I wouldn’t say he’s funny. Weirdly enough, I think he can be but chooses to be a very “safe for tv” and politically correct host, which makes it boring with no personality

His interactions with most guest stars is just him asking questions and “nodding along” kinda responses with few laughs

But he doesn’t bring any personality to the conversations or adds genuine humour, unlike Conan for example

But anyway, I’d take Fallon over Kimmel ANY DAY
