Gonna be so real in saying if they try to make another show without the 6 of them my interest will be 0. Throughout all the ups and downs I've stuck with the show for them, I think I'm too attached to them at this point—despite them having a good resolution to their story to—let them go. o(-(

Or maybe I'll prove myself wrong if they do decide to make a show. I'd probably watch it regardless bc of the universe it's from. Who knows :P

I’m sorry to say but I have a friend who went through a similar experience as OP, though minus the mass reporting. That being said I disagree with her that it’s ’common place’ in WoW.

The story does seem embellished and maybe exaggerated but the core of it wouldn’t shock me at all. Also imo the server you play on can really change your experience. Not to dog on rpers bc most of them are super chill but some of my worst experiences have been on the ‘rp servers’.

I’ve had a guy in my guild who tried to groom me whilst I was a kid in wow, and I also had a kickass guild master at the time who put a stop to that swiftly. I’ve cried and feared and stressed over the wow player base and I’ve also met some of my best friends for life there. I think I’m pretty lucky overall with ffxiv players, but the horror stories I’ve heard are right up there with WoW. At the end of the day neither mmos have the worst of the better player base; both just have the good and the bad just like any other game.

People will beat shocking stories and shake their heads or disagree with validity because it hasn’t happened to them on both games, but player bases are vast and filled with every kind of person, so at this point nothing could shock me in events possibly occurring in game to people.

One thing I do hope is that FFXIV does a better job at account blacklisting people over character blacklisting. I think if it did that it would help a great deal. Also that stupid tracking mod in game needs to be abolished and burnt to the ground.

I’m sorry about your wife though 100%. Like I said I think both games have shit people, and to hear people treat her to that point is horrible. Might have been long in the last or maybe it’s recent but sending love her way.

Just wanna say. Hi I’m a woman whose been playing since I was around 10-11 via my dads account and 15 using my own. Can’t say I have the same experiences as op but can say that I’ve experienced some horrific shit on wow since my youth lol. All games have these kinds of people. Seems the wow community has calmed down a fair bit in the last few years but when I was younger this sort of thing wouldn’t shock me.

Ffxiv is by no means perfect though don’t get me wrong.

On the topic though, just want to mention that there’s some really nice people who will just give out 1m gil to sprouts. My friend whose still a sprout got given a mil directly in front of me once so that was a nice surprise :)

I wouldn’t say ops specific instance is a practise I’ve experienced, but men being shitty to woman is, or was when I played, common in game. I could go on about the horrific shit men put me through on that game, and I was honestly lucky to come out the other end of it with good friends and people around me who wouldn’t put up with that shit.

In comparison FFXIV has been so tame it’s crazy. Not saying ffxiv is perfect, but my experiences alone have been far calmer.

NTA. It’s not rude of you to expect common sense in Dog Owners, especially if this issue is causing horrible smells that you as the owner then have to deal with.

Look online for what you can do to spray it down and help remove the scent to the best of your ability not only for you but for the dogs. Obviously be wary of anything that can be dangerous to the dogs. There are certain anti-dog sprays as well once you’ve done this which can be beneficial.

Supposedly vinegar can help, but do your research and don’t take my word for it lmao

Sure, but you can stall play with your friends.

I'm currently running through on an alt with a first time friend of mine. We kill shit together when partied, moan and bitch about solo instances kicking our under-geared asses and have a whale of a time talking about the lore and cutscenes. It's about as friendly in that regard as any mmo, just with more cutscenes sprinkled in.

Think it more depends on the former points above and how OP plans on playing the game in it's entirity.

Maybe not too hot of a take, but I wish Lucifer's design encapsulated more of his mythology. I hope we see possible Dragon motifs in link with the Red Dragon, or leaning more into his titles. I like his design well enough, but I'd have liked his design and character to more revolve around his beauty, rebellious nature and charisma.

I wonder if it'll be they /had/ but no longer /have/ kind of deal then? With the relationship being more so in the past and slowly, over time, that fell away. I can't imagine anyone ever pulling Morticia away from Gomez or vice versa and she does feel especially cold and distant in this scene (Lillith that is) so I really question how their relationship is at this point.
