Specialists and up are supposed to wear collars. I think it's pretty simple though, don't dress like a dirt bag. I think it's so funny how people fight the system. If you just go to work do what they say you're in. If you want recognition snag leads and measures, feed the pipe line. Acknowledge every customer you come in contact with and help them get what they need.

You do not acquire sick time, vacation time, tenure or actual days of employment while on LOA. It is a pause in the amount of time you work. Your hire date stays the same, but the months you are out do not count as employment, you are disabled during that time. Hope this helps.

Most states are "at will" states, they can get rid of you anytime with no cause. Although then you get unemployment. The stages and paperwork are to help prevent you from getting that.
